Parkland Poets offers readings both online and in person.
Online: On the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7 pm MST the readings are virtual (Zoom).
Zoom Link: Click here from 6:45pm onwards on reading night (2nd Thurs). Password: 2023
In Person: On the 4th Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm MST at the Stony Plain Public Library.
Open Mic readers do not have to sign up ahead of time (you can sign up at the beginning of each reading).

If you would like to be a featured reader or a mic host, then we welcome you to sign up by clicking on the big circle below (where it says “sign up here”) – readings are 8 – 10 minutes and mic hosts must have some familiarity with the ZOOM platform. Anyone can read at the open mic; sign up in the chat box when you connect to zoom.**

Open Mic Readers – just show up with a poem in hand (max. 2 mins) – and provide a trigger warning if necessary.
