Parkland Poets Reading on Zoom – Second Thursday Every Month
Password: 2025

Format
Featured Readers
At each meeting, we will feature three poets who have signed up in advance to deliver an 8 to 10-minute reading. Signing up as a featured reader is a great way to promote a new book or poetry-related event.
Some additional information for featured readers can be found here.
We use SignUp Genius – a separate tool – to manage the featured readers for future sessions; you can use the button below to see future openings for featured readers and sign up.
Open Mic
Following the featured readers, there will be an Open Mic session, where audience members can sign up (on the night itself) to deliver a brief 2-4 minute reading.
You do not have to sign up in advance to read at the open mic.
Volunteer
Volunteers are needed to fulfill the roles of Mic Host/Emcee at each reading.
We also need volunteers to be co-hosts, or technical support, during our Zoom readings, so that the Mic Host can focus on Emceeing the evening.
We offer training and support for these roles.
We use SignUp Genius to manage the the Mic Hosts, Co-hosts, and Tech Support roles for future sessions; you can use the button below to see future openings for featured readers and sign up.
