Pathways to Poetry Project

Pathways to Poetry was a month-long interactive public exhibit of poetry and performance.

Visitors to Rotary Park in Stony Plain, Alberta between September 5th and 30th, 2020, could locate signposts featuring the work of local poets. For an added personalization, visitors could also use their phone to scan a QR Code on each poem to watch a video of the poet performing their words!

All of the videos were shot on-site at the Stony Plain and Parkland Pioneer Museum.

Below, Bill Soder tells us all about what an amazing place the Museum is.

Many thanks to all of the poets who participated and to the staff and volunteers at the Stony Plain and Parkland Pioneer Museum.

A huge thank you, as well, to Gloria Crawford, who coordinated this project! Parkland Poets’ Society would not be what it is without the tireless efforts of our amazing volunteers.
